For my first ever visit to Dubai which was April 2015, I
thought I should go to one of the famous landmarks which is the Atlantis Hotel.
My first impression was great, pulling up outside in a taxi to find four staff
members opening doors and the boot to get me, my mum and sister and our luggage
out in a fast but efficient turn around time to make room for the next arrival.
Even though we got to the hotel around 9am (GMT+3) we was glad to find out our
room was one of those which were made up ready earlier than normal time to get
into the room (around 3pm).
Not only was the facilities at the Atlantis hotel amazing
and high end. There were many restaurants to choose from when you have the half
board plan. However, with all of the party being coeliac we stuck with the same
buffet restaurant which was Kaleidoscope.
After a quick change
into a cooler and thinner outfit, we set off to explore and find Aquaventure
Waterpark which we had free unlimited access to due to being guests there. No
doubt about it, from the afternoon of going to watch the dolphins jump in the
water whilst sitting at the Starbucks, laying in the wave pool and finding the
private beach for hotel guests only. We were in love with the hotel and
waterpark, so much so we booked to visit the Atlantis again to go in September
2015
